The answering skills of some; why does some answer questions merely with "I agree with the first answerer"?

I know...shouldn't be snobbish, but asked a question earlier this morning, and out of the 11 answers, five 'answered' with '...I agree with Helen'. Agreeing with someone who sends a stormer of an answer is all well and good, but (like most on here) I would expect at least half an answer, rather than none at all.
