Blue Diamond or Blue Blood?

A rare blue diamond found only in South Africa recently smashed all all records for money paid per karat for any diamond of it's size. It was funny or I will say sad to see how an asiain diamond reviewer raved over the quality of what certain humans perceive as priceless. What good will this 8 million dollar rock do for our world not to mention many parts of Africa. Why one could be tricked into beleiving a simple stone that causes nothing but pain and sorrow for so many can be considered to be worth such a rediculous ammount of worth. We are such sad creatures. For the record, my wife has anomysouly donated all of her gold and diamonds to unnamed charities. We became educated about the blood gems through National Geographic and our own research. I beg all of you to do the same.
