Can anyone give me a legitimate reason why the embargo on Cuba should remain?

Their list of human rights violations is as long as a fat man's grocery list. The United States doesn't want to "support" a government like that. That is what the talks or supposedly for, so that Cuba can show that they are treating people like humans before the President begins to release sanctions.
