How could i get my xbox 360 recorder to record in higher definition to put on youtube?

i am using a gigaware video converter with arcsoft showbiz 2 hardware but if you look at one of my videos on youtube there not in great quality and i was wondering how i can get my videos in higher quality if you want to see the videos type in onexmattx14 thats my account name thanks for the help
