My girlfriend is being bashed by her ex boyfriend wat do i do?

My girlfriend's ex boyfriend has been hittin my gf and blaming her for things and tell her that if i love her he'll hurt her at stuff. Im scared about that when i leave her i dunno if ill see her again. I have always stood by her side in this and always will.. But all i want is to for her ex to leave her alone
