Virginia tech event. Anyone else feeliing victimized?
I watched the interview with Keith Ablow and the ex-FBI egent and Matt Lauer on NBC. Since the shooting event happened, i have been thinking of the fact that we need to reach out more to people who we would otherwise call outcasts and wierdos and stay away from. In the interview, Dr Keith Ablow said a lot of things that i agree with. It is important to realize that there are people like this in society who grow up feeling defenseless, hopeless, like victims and very disempowered, not usually because of society but more often because of their family background and then the reinforcement of that type of treatment from people by society. I have to say that I used to be in a similar place as i decribed above. Hopeless, victimized, picked on, bullied etc. I know what it is like to feel such worthless ness and have no one else care or even understand and you feel like you have to do something to get people to hear you. I thought about suicide but even when i brought it up to my family,
